The whitelab at the WCN 2023

Our lab participated to the World Congress of Neurology 2023 which took place here in Montreal in October.

Justin had the opportunity to present - and answer questions! - on exome sequencing re-analysis in subjects with adult onset leukodystrophies in front of an audience of clinicians and researchers.

Diana, Hanifa and Rawan presented the results of their research projects with three posters which received a lot of (well deserved) attention.

Diana’s poster described the protocol and preliminary data on the characterization of ALSP patient-derived microglia using iPSCs. Her study is the done in Dr. Stratton’s and our labs.

Hanifa presented the scoping review on mitochondrial mimickers of MS, including TUFM-related disorder which we recently described.

Rawan’s poster was on the preliminary results of our retrospective neuroimaging analysis in subjects with SCA27B (GAA-FGF14 ataxia).
